JavaScript developer wanted!

Dashboard Vision Inc. – a small but growing data visualization service provider company in the USA is looking for a JavaScript developer for its Budapest office (near Kálvin tér) in Hungary.

the successful candidate:

  • has 5+ years experience building complex web applications
  • significant experience creating applications with Vue.js and Node.js
  • knowledge of the GraphQL API query language
  • ability to implement a wide range of common UI design patterns
  • can build responsive app components that work on both desktop and mobile
  • experience with automated testing of JavaScript front ends
  • writes clean, extensible, maintainable code that adheres to company standards
  • thrives in a collaborative environment
  • graduated from a university or equivalent
  • speaks/reads/writes Hungarian and English – at least on a functional level

Core Leadership skill requirements

  • ES6 JavaScript and/or Typescript
  • use of Babel and/or Typescript compiler
  • JavaScript debugging and linting tools
  • package management with npm or Yarn
  • HTML5, CSS3 & Bootstrap 4
  • version control best practices with GIT
  • Auth0 experience is a plus

activities performed

  • develop application components for our new data visualization product
  • automate testing of front-end components
  • use your knowledge and experience to propose software strategies and to help set the technical direction of project work
  • collaborate with SCRUM team to plan sprints, size work, and deliver on functional objectives
